  7. The Apple Menu Commands.
  8.  
  9. The Apple Menu contains two commands associated with VersaTile: 
  10.  
  11. The About VersaTile command displays information about VersaTile and allows you to access VersaTile's Online User's Manual.
  12.  
  13. The About this Macintosh  command displays the Finder's "About This Macintosh" window.  You can use this window to see where your memory is allocated.

  16. The File Menu Commands.

  18. The File Menu contains the standard Macintosh commands for handling documents:

  20. The New Palette  command creates a new empty palette on the desktop provided that there is enough free memory available.
  21.  
  22. The Open Palette command opens a previously saved palette and displays it on the desktop provided enough memory is available.
  23.  
  24. The Close Palette command closes the current or topmost palette.
  25.  
  26. The Save Palette command saves changes to the current or topmost palette.  If you selected the "Automatically Save Changes" option in the Preferences area, VersaTile  will automatically save all changes to the palette for you.

  28. The Save As command saves the current or topmost palette as a new file under a different name.
  29.  
  30. The Save as Template command saves the current palette's configuration as a template for creating new palettes.  All newly created palettes will then automatically acquire the preferences that you saved.  These settings include palette location, tile format, tile texture,  palette orientation (horizontal or vertical), palette size, title bar and name area configuration (showing or hidden), palette font, and palette window coloring.  This template will NOT affect the Active Applications palette settings which are saved automatically.  See "The Active Application Palette" topic for more information.

  32. The Revert Palette command restores the palette to the last saved configuration.  All changes made to the palette after it was last saved will be lost.

  34. The Page Setup  command is used to setup your printer.  This command is only used when printing the online help text.
  35.  
  36. The Print command is used to print the help text and VersaTile order form.  This option is only available when the Help window is open and active.
  37.  
  38. The Preferences command is used to access the Preferences and Registration areas.

  40. The Quit command quits VersaTile and closes all open palettes.

  43. The Edit Menu Commands.
  44.  
  45. The Edit Menu contains the standard Macintosh commands:  Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, etc.  These commands are only available in the tile texture editor.  Cutting, copying, and pasting tiles are performed using the palette's popup Action Menu.  See "Using the Action Menu" for more information.

  48. The Special Menu.

  50. The Special Menu contains the Finder commands Empty Trash, Restart, and Shutdown.  These commands perform the same actions as their Finder equivalents.
